Draw IO CSV from attachment

sjaak derksen March 29, 2024

The option: "embed draw.io diagram" offers me the possibility to create a diagram from a CSV file. This is one of the tab options.

I've created such "CSV" diagram offline (with the offline draw io tool). I uploaded the CSV file to the attachments of the page I want to embed the diagram in.

How can I refer to that CSV? It requests an URL. But if I go to the attachments (in another tab of my browser) and copy the link, it cannot resolve the URL. Error message: "CSV file not found or cannot be accessed. Please check the specified URL".

Is there something I miss? It feels strange that only external sources (e.g. github) are allowed while CSV file is available as attachment.

Hi @sjaak derksen, assuming this works similarly to the Data Center version, the file/CSV needs to be publicly available.

I hope that helps.

Cheers,

@Melo : if I understandy you correctly, being an attachement on the same page as the io diagram won't do? That's kind of strange, isn't it?
