Greetings community,
I am setting up confluence team calendars for 10 users that use outlook 365 and when I install the caldav synchronizer (win 11OS), its appears to install correctly, but the "caldav" tab does not show up in the outlook 365 calendar ribbon and thus I cannot connect the api's to two way sync with team calendars. Has anyone encountered this issue?
That said, if this is not workable, any recommendation for a 2 way sync 3rd party app?
Goal is to run all user calendars, and project calendars centralized in a confluence page.
Thanks!
Hi there @Johnathan
Thank you for your question. As you have Confluence Standard, I'd recommend a third party calendar integration.
I work for yasoon and we're developing an app called Outlook Calendars for Confluence, this might be an alternative for you: Outlook Calendars for Confluence | Atlassian Marketplace. The app is free for up to 10 users. There are more third party apps available: Confluence Calendar apps | Atlassian Marketplace
Happy Tuesday!
Best,
Britta
Hi Brita,
Thanks for your response! In the end, I determined that the version of outlook 365 that I was using was a "new" layout, and as such, the caldav synchronizer was not visible, despite being install. If you open "microsoft 365" and launch the outlook client from there, the caldav setting are visible in the ribbon and I was able to connect.
I did look at some of the options you suggested, thank you, as I have a dead line to roll out the calendar sync to the leadership team.
We have premium confluence, and team calendar, but the hang up was not being able to access the setting on the "new" Outlook 365 client.
Hope this helps other as MS continues to "simplify/break" long standing features!
Best,
Johnathan
