I am building an application/plugin for confluence Datacenter
This plugin will expose the required endpoint to fetch space level ACLs Plugin will be hosted on Atlassian marketplace
I need to know weather data center version uses binary package of confluence on-prem or confluence cloud
The question is a bit hard to follow, but if you develop an app for Confluence Data Center, then the answer is that Confluence Data Center is a self-hosted variant. It means that someone who wants to use it must download the installer and install it to his own server computer or infrastructure.
But, it is, of course, possible to install it to a virtual infrastructure like Amazon AWS EC2 instances.
So it is the "binary package".
Thanks for your reply Aron, let me explain little more.
In the context of Confluence, a binary package refers to the pre-compiled software package that can be downloaded and installed on a computer system to run Confluence.
I am developing plugin for Data center version, I need to clarify if what binary package Confluence Data Center uses, confluence on-prem or confluence cloud?

Confluence Data Center == Confluence on-prem.
(Confluence Cloud is not a downloadable package.)
