Hi,
I need to build a page on Confluence which can make a suggestion to user based on several criteria.
I see it like an online shop search engine: a user choose a category (e.g. Laptop) and sets a numbers of criteria (e.g. screen size, battery capacity, etc.). Based on his criteria the search engine suggests a number of relevant items.
In my case search object could be different. I might have several pages: one to search for information systems, another one is for equipment and so on.
Does anybody know similar solutions for Confluence?
Hi Victor,
The pages in Confluence are more Static and not Dynamic and so Confluence isn't meant to be used in this way.
You may be able to work with specific tags on pages to do this, but it won't be able to serve the results on-demand the way you'll need it to.
My recommendation would be to purchase a software specifically meant for creating a shop and use that to create that system for your company.
Kind Regards,
Shannon
