In an Confluence Release note:
there is a description on how to create an RSS 2.0 feed. We are using Version 6.8.1 and I want to create a RSS-2.0-feed using the RSS feed builder. Is this feature still available? If available, how can I access the feature? In the wizard within Feed builder in our version I do not see the option. Is there a url-parameter to set feed-format to RSS 2.0?
I was interested in that topic, too. So I asked Atlassian support and they came up with with this solution: There is a parameter rssType which should be set to the value rss to get a feed in RSS 2.0 formatting.
So simply add &rssType=rss at the end of the feed URL. Works fine with Confluence 7.4.1.
