Hi,
I'm looking for a way to make a collection of product spec sheets that I can manage online. I'd like the ability to print the pages and have the printouts look good. Currently, we use InDesign for our product spec sheets and it looks good, but its tedious to have to make edits and keep a uniform format. Is there any way to make confluence documentation look more customized as you could with InDesign (bold color blocks, and font layout)?
Hi @Paul Ogle and welcome to the community.
We (Emplifi) author our product docs in Confluence and then use Scroll Viewport app by K15t to build our documentation websites from the Confluence content.
This is our site: https://docs.emplifi.io/platform/latest/home/
(We have a couple of more sites but those are behind our SSO).
As you can see, it doesn't really look like Confluence ;)
For printing, I'd recommend Scroll PDF Exporter - which offers fully customizable templates and the general look and feel of your PDF exports.
The advantage of this combo is that they would take care of both your online site and your offline content (PDFs).
