Do action items / tasks have a date created? How can I view it in a task report?

I've created tasks, and then aggregated them in a task report.  I see I can filter them by "after date created', but I don't see how I can display the date created for each task in a task report.

Thanks for your question.

Tasks have a created date that matches the page that they were first created on. As you mention, you can select a date and only show tasks created after that date, however, there is no column in the task report to show the date created, only the due date or completed date of the task.

Add "Filter Results" gadget

and add "Created" column. The gadget will be looks like this below
