All the questions and answers I see on Big Picture and Big Gantt are from years ago and still don't answer the question. I have a confluence space where we track the status and I would love to have an automatically updated visual of the Gantt chart there when I use the macro, it either displays whatever my last view was of Big Gantt so not necessarily the view I want on the page, or it displays the timeline but so zoomed out that i'm looking at like 5 years when the project only spans over 3. Is there another way to set up the macro or is there another macro I should be using? I would rather not do a screenshot but the iframe option doesn't work either. Any ideas?
Welcome to the community.
In the documentation, I can't find anything on this topic.
I think it's best to raise your question at the developer support portal. They are the makers of the app and should not its limitations and or possibilities.
I have done this and I'll report back, but I'm curious if anyone else has seen this issue. The last posts on anything like this is from more than 4 years ago.

That would be useful, but depends on members on the community using this 3rd party app and if they use it in combination with Confluence as well.
This might be a small group of people and then will they look on the community regularly?
