Disable Link Highlighting in Preformatted Text

When copying text into the editor as preformatted, url's are highlighted as links. In this case, I do not want these url's recognized as links, but there doesn't seem to be a way to modify that in the editor.

Is there a way to disable this?

It is at: {yourName} > Settings > Your Settings: Editor > [x] Disable Autoformatting

If it is just needed for some links you can also touch the formatted link, wait for the pop up and click on "Unlink".

hovering over the link in the editor does not produce a popup

I should have said "click" instead of "touch". Sorry, if this was too confusing ;-)
