I am the administrator of our office's Jira/Confluence cloud instance. A former employee created a space that I now want to delete, but I do not have permission to do it, despite being the owner/administrator of the whole site.
When I bring up the list of spaces, then right-click on the three dots to bring up the space settings, it's grayed out as a choice (see snip).
How do I fix this? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
As an administrator, you should try to recover your permissions to that space. Navigate to Administration -> Space Permissions. You should be able to recover the permission to any spaces in your instance.
Thanks,
Kian

Have you tried using the direct URL: https://yourinstancename.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/removespace.action?key=*SPACEKEY*

@Dave Mathijs, thanks for the suggestion, I had not. Unfortunately, I got the response below. I honestly don't understand how someone who never had admin access to the site could lock something down so completely from the admin??
