Default Page Layout - Confluence Cloud

Ryan Bates July 19, 2019

Trying out Confluence Cloud after using OnPrem Server version for about two years. I'm noticing that by default all of my pages seem to have a table that leaves quite a bit of whitespace on the left/right side (see red boxes in screenshot). This does not happen in the OnPrem version. Is there a setting to fix this? I'd like my pages to consume 100% of the page instead of maxing out at around 800 pixels wide.

Hi all,

I'm happy to update that Full Width mode is now available as a toggle for all pages in the new editor. You'll find it to the right of the breadcrumbs when you're in the editor just above the page title.

Thanks,

Avinoam

Full width toggle is good, but is there a setting for that to be the DEFAULT?

Thanks,

Suzanne

For an explanation of why this is happening, see https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/confluence-editing-improvements-945107733.html and the roadmap https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/confluence-cloud-editor-roadmap-967314556.html

Full width pages is coming (back) soon to Confluence Cloud, but is not yet available in the new editor.

If you have any other feedback or questions about the new editor, I also suggest joining the discussion thread here:
