I wrote a blog post about this kind of thing some time back:

More flexible commenting in Atlassian’s Confluence

You could just go to Confluence Admin | Look and Feel | Custom HTML ... At the end of the HEAD:

Add this:

#com-atlassian-confluence #comments-section { display:none; }

If you can modify the decorators, you open the Comment Layout decorator for the space you want to remove comments from in the Admin console and comment everything out.

One of the space level permissions assigned to groups or people is comment. If you don't have that checked people shouldn't be able to comment.

Thank you for these Answers.

It's more like hide the comment section... is this possible?

My response tells you how to do it, but here's more detail.

Open the space admin via a URL like the following:

Where "doc" is the name of the space.

Click the Space Admin tab.

Under "Content Layouts", next to "Comments Layout", click the "Create custom" link. This opens the decorator for the comments section of pages.

Delete everything in that decorator and click Save.

Don't worry, you can always click the "Reset Default" link if you want to get it back.

Thank you for your answers. After further review i have found a makro at the marketplace. it's called 'Hide elements'. It is exactly what i need.
