Database on Confluence - not updating data

New Feature - Create "Database"

Have created a Database to be able to show when Confluence Pages are created, and who created them.

However the Database does not update and I don't know if this is from a setting that I have missed?

I created the Database on the 10th of October, and it doesn't show any Newly Created records after this date.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Andrew

Hi @Andrew Rowland

At the moment, Confluence Databases do not support automatic addition of a new page to the Database. Which is unfortunate because you can use Databases as life-cycle management tool.

Your use case is served by Content Manager, which is available on Confluence Premium... Yes, I agree this should be standard ;)

But there is a free solution - Pages Manager by Ricksoft is a free app that does pretty much the same + adds more features like editing page status, labels en masse.

Also, Panorama by Kolekti (currently in Alpha testing phase) offers similar features.

If you would use page properties, then page property raport could do the job: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-page-properties-report-macro/
