Customized in-app training for Confluence?

I'm curious if the option to build custom, in-app training 'pop ups' on a Confluence instance exist, or if there is an external app that helps with that?

Use case: I'm trying to improve employee enablement on how to use Confluence, and tour new hires around our Confluence instance. I want to use some sort of in-app training to do this, where directed pop-ups display on the screen and guide people to key spaces and pages. 

Has anyone done something similar? Thanks!

As @Dave Mathijs pointed out, Atlassian University has a great collection of courses to get users started with Confluence. However, if you prefer to prepare a custom training path for employees, there are apps that could help.

For guided tours and interactive walkthroughs, you might consider using an app like Guided Pathways for Confluence. While we have primarily designed it for creating decision-tree style guides and interactive documentation, its flexibility allows you to create step-by-step onboarding flows within Confluence, highlighting key areas and directing users to specific pages or spaces. This can be a more engaging and interactive approach than static documentation for new hire training.

You could create a "New Hire Onboarding" pathway that walks them through the essential parts of your Confluence instance. If you're interested, here's an article I wrote for the community: Onboarding employees in Confluence

I do like your idea of the 'spotlight'-like popups tho! It could be really handy too :)

In addition to Atlassian University, if you want to create custom trainings inside your Confluence instance you have 2 plugins doing that (maybe more, but at least 2) : 

• IZI for Confluence 
• Smart Courses for Confluence

The Atlassian University offers several free self-paced on-demand courses, have a look at the learning path Get the most out of Confluence for instance.
