I have an urgent need to curate, organize, and version documentation for a growning company. The types of documents will range from Microsoft Word documents, PDFs, MadCap Flare Help files, and PowerPoint slides. Can I import and export all these types of files into Confluence? Or is there an add-on that I can use?
For importing you can import a Word document create a native wiki page. For export you can take a wiki page and export it to either Word or PDF. However, you can take Word, PPT, and PDF documents and attach them to a page and preview the contents of those documents within the wiki. Those attachments are also versioned as you upload new versions of the attachment. As for MadCap Flare Help files there is nothing built in to handle these. However, can still attach them to a page and version them just as attachments.
This community is celebrating its one-year anniversary and Atlassian co-founder Mike Cannon-Brookes has all the feels.
