Creating pages without unique ids

Sapir zahavi May 30, 2021

In my code, I want to show a Confluence link according to the received alert and I don't want to add all the links hardcoded, but when I create a new page it generates a unique id at the end of the URL.
Is there an option to create a new page without a unique id?

for example: spaces/pages/<AlertName>

Hi @Sapir zahavi and welcome to the community!

First of all, whenever you create a page, this page gets a unique id (read more here). Apart from this, you can create a new page using confluence's REST API by providing the title of the page, which in your case could possible be the "alert name".
