Creating a dynamic Confluence page

Tze Young Tham August 27, 2019

Hi,

I trying to dynamically generate a set of pages based of a large set of other pages. At a high level, these are a set of reports that are built out of sub-pages within Confluence. For example:

Reports (These are the dynamic reports)

- Report A

- Report B

Sub-Section A (These sections are managed by multiple people/teams)

- A.1 contents

- A.2 contents

- etc...

Sub-Section B (These sections are managed by multiple people/teams)

- B.1 contents

- B.2 contents

- etc...

I have metadata stored in Excel (can be something else if needed, a database, a text file) that will say:

1. Report A is made up of items A.1 and B.2

2. Report B is made up of items A.2 and B.1

etc...

Is there a way that I can do this where the dynamic reports are generated based on the metadata I have? I know I can include contents from other pages using macros but I'm not able to find any that will generate a page based of metadata provided.

Thanks!

Ty
