Hello,

The company I work for uses Confluence extensively for storing documentation. One of the things we have yet to move there are checklists used for installing software products. These checklists are currently stored in OneNote and we'd like to migrate them to Confluence, but there are some limitations that have prevented us from doing so.

We've experimented with using the "Task List" checkbox along with Templates, but the big drawback is that there are certain macros that don't work well or work at all with Templates, such as the Include. We have several checklists and a lot of them share the same steps, so it would be ideal if we could create one page that contains the steps used by all checklists, and these checklists could each reference that one page. Doing so would prevent us from having to update multiple different pages if a step that is shared needs to be changed.

We haven't found a good way to create these checklists in Confluence yet. Does anyone know if there is another macro or plugin we could use to accomplish this?

Thanks for the suggestion @Nicolas Grossi! I checked out that link and we do use that checkbox macro that the first poster mentioned. We are looking for a way to make our checklists more robust. The Business Checklist app that the other poster mentioned may be an option, but it looks like it's for Confluence Cloud only, and our organization uses Confluence Server.

If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.
