Creating Category & Sub-Category in Confluence

· Can I create category and sub-categories inside a space ?

· If yes, then is it possible to assign one page to more than one category/sub-category

Hello,

Regarding the following documentation you can create a category to your space through the labels. Please, refer to the page to better understand how it works.

"In Confluence, content is organised into spaces. There are two types of space:

• Globalspaces are areas on your site into which you can group content items (pages, attachments, news, etc) based on any subject or topic of your choice. For example, you may want separate areas on your site for each team or project within your organisation.
• Personalspaces belong to specific users. They can be kept private, or opened up so the whole world can view and edit them, just like global spaces. These spaces are listed in thePeople Directory. They are not listed on the 'All' tab on the dashboard."

Also, I'm not sure if it could help you, but, there's a plugin that provides functionality to organize spaces hierarchically in spaces and sub-spaces. Please, refer to SubSpace plugin page:

Thanks Giuliano. But categorizing viz.. labels is not what i am looking for.

I installed plugin you mentioned but clicking create sub space is not working!
