After creating a template it is not available in the templates / custom area.
Steps:
1. Access the Space Settings
2. Look and Feel
3. Choosing Create New Template
4. Because I built the page in a different space I open the page / choose edit / copy / then paste it into the template page
5. Save.
6. Template is now accessible in the space settings/look and feel/templates page
However, when I choose the Templates button at the top of the screen it is not accessible as a "custom" template.
I have deleted the page and gone the step above twice with the same results. Interestingly enough, I went through these same steps to build a different template and it does show up in the custom template area
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks, SK
@Susan Kuehn , I'm not sure why this is happening, but I will be interested to see an answer, since I'm also interested in knowing how to copy a template from one space to another.
In the meantime, have you tried promoting the template and/or starring it? If you do this, does it show up under the Promoted or Starred category?
I have tried promoting, but not starred category. It did not work to promote.
