Create a new page in space from template

Hello,

I have a question about creating new pages using the rest API with Java.

 In my space, I created a template. I think the entityId is the templateID?

However, when accessing the page /rest/api/template/{templateID}, I get a 404 error. 

Am I using the wrong ID?

Dear @Nils Schieschke ,

have you tried to user "content" instead of "template"? If this is not working, you could save your template as a normal page and then read the page to create a new one.

Thanks for your answer. I also tried content, did not work as well.

I think for now I will do as you said, save the templates as pages and load the body, thanks.
