Create User Macro that may assign a task to a user

Hi,

I'm creating a user macro to create a ToDo in the document. As a parameter I've asked if they want to create a task and which user to assign it to.

Now I'm trying to work out how to create and assign the task.

I've tried a variety of methods, but can't work out how I should go about doing it.

If there is an in-built macro to call via: [$action.getHelper().renderConfluenceMacro("{user-mention:user=$!paramCreateTaskAssignUser}")]

But I don't know what the name of user mention macro is (if indeed it is one and not some other type of funtion) and I don't know if I've defined it as a task correctly or if it needs another macro call....

Please help! Some examples would be great.

Jason- I am trying to do something similar. Did you ever figure this out?

Hi Tim,

Unfortunately I don't believe that I did. There was only a limited amount of time I had to devote to it. I guess it was a 'nice to have' for me. But I would certainly be interested if you end up having a win. Please let me know how you get on.
