Hello all,
I have created a form where users fill in data. This data is displayed on another page which was created using the ConfiForms IFTTT Integration macro.
I would like to copy the displayed data into the created form when changes or additions need to be made, instead of re-entering the existing data by hand.
I know there is a field called "Lookup and set value" , but I need to enter the page ID dynamically since these pages do not exist yet.
Is there any way to copy data from another page into the current form by manually capturing the page ID and form name from the user?
Regards,
Martin
Hi
You can save back the page id you have just created with ConfiForms. See https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/CONFIFORMS/Creating+links+in+original+ConfiForms+entry+to+just+created+page (alternative solution on the right side)
So, when you have it saved back to the record used to create the page you can then reference it in the other, following IFTTTs.. one of these might be https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/CONFIFORMS/Configuring+ConfiForms+IFTTT+actions+and+rules#ConfiguringConfiFormsIFTTTactionsandrules-CopyConfiFormsData
So, from the workflow perspective (IFTTT actions flow) it will be like this:
- create the page
- save back the id of the page you have just created
- copy the data to the form on the page you have just created via "Copy ConfiForms Data" action rule
