Copy a space without some pages

Hi everyone :)

I would need to copy a space from y Confluence to other Confluence sites.

But there are some pages in my Confluence site that I want to keep "secret", and I don't want them to be copied .

(I also don't want to copy them and then to delete them one by one, there is a risk to forget one).

Do you know if there is a way to copy a space without copying some identified pages ? I checked with labels but can't find anything..

Option 1

Export space, XML, check Custom export, deselect any pages that you don't want to export, done.

I think it's possible to exclude pages when copying a space to another Confluence site. using the custom space export option. 

However, there seems to be some limitations according to this documentation: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/export-content-to-word-pdf-html-and-xml/#Export-a-space 

- Yoour use case is to import a space into another Confluence site (I assume cloud), so CSV is the best option 

- But CSV export only has a full export option

Will you need to maintain the content on both sites after migration?

Maybe you can take advantage of the free 30-day trial of Marketplace add-on to accomplish this. Allow me to suggest an app that my team developed, called Space Sync for Confluence 

This app lets you copy space from one Confluence site to another using the app's bulk sync feature. Though you need to install the app on both sites. 

Once you configure the app, you can copy the space with an option to exclude pages by labels. The benefit of this app is that you can update content on the source space and then sync the changes automatically across sites, if you need to maintain both of them.

Hi Linh, and thank you for your answer :)

I already tried this app, which is really good, but I am trying to find a free solution :/ 

And actually as soon as my space is copied to the other site, I don't need to sync them, they will evolve on their own. 

What I didn't mention is that I will have to do this pretty often, and I will always have to same pages kept secret.
