Contributors Macro not showing good results using Content Type "blogposts"

I'm using the contributors macro to show all blog contributors in a single space and everything works fine.

 

content type:  blogposts

contribution type:  authors

spaces:  single space

 

but when I change "spaces" from a specific space to @AlL or @Global I get lots of useless data.  No blogs from 2023 appear but I get lots of old data and I'm sorting by update date.

 

If I add the "Blog Post Date" to 2023/01/01 then I get 3 results showing the correct 3 contributors.
