I am creating a page that is included on other pages. In the included page I want to insert a variable that captures the title of the "host" page in some body copy.
I am open to other ways of getting the info - variables were just the first thing that came to mind.

So if I understand correctly, you want the title of Page A to appear within the text on Page B, which is included on Page A. Am I getting that right?
If so, I can't say I know how to include the title of a page as a variable. You could link to a specific page, which will pull in the page title dynamically, but it will be a hyperlink and not text. It also won't be dynamic, changing value depending on the page in which it's included.
As far as I'm aware, there's no way to change content based on the page in which it's included.
