A problem occurred with the existing Confluence and was newly installed. It is composed of a Linux-based container.

Since I was backing up every day, I restored it with the backed up files.

However, after restoration, the information on all users disappears and access is not possible. So even if you access the user information at the time of restoration, you cannot connect.

I can see that the data has been restored properly, but I cannot use it because I cannot log in.

Help plz.

Hello @penber ray!

As I understand, your users lost access to the instance after restoring a backup. If you are unable to login with your administrator account, it might be a good idea to look into our documentation on how to restore the administrator account:

Moving further, I believe that you should look into your instance logs to have a better idea on what is happening with it. Here we have more details on the logs and how to work with it:

Even after these tips, I would like to have more details on your instance:

  1. Are there any errors on your screen when you try to access Confluence?
  2. What version of Confluence are you running?
  3. What distribution of Linux are you using?
  4. Was there any change applied to the instance before this incident?

Let us hear from you!
