Confluence report on votes

clair clark April 8, 2014

We have lists of functionality that we need the team to consider.

Each item of functionlaity is contained in a row of a table.

We currently have a 'vote' macro in each row, for each user to vote on. They have a number of options - Yes / No / Dont Know etc.

Once all users have voted, we can decide if the functionality should be included or not.

Is there a way of reporting from the votes cast e.g. show all votes (by name) with the 'Yes' selected?

Or is there other functionality that could be used?

Thank you

with 'vote' macro you probably mean the survey-plugin. I would recommend you to use the survey macro for multi-voting. It gives you a summary of the voted elements.

The summary is calculated based on the choices, so do want only to count the 'yes' choices or is it sufficient to see what the calculated score shows? Maybe the new condensed view (https://github.com/drohne1673/confluence-survey-plugin/issues/17) can help you here also, if it is like a matrix based decision finding for which functionality shall be added.
