Hello, can't figure out what is a problem, Confluence not starting. After launching startup script I get Tomcat started, and record in catalina.out:
/opt/atlassian/confluence/bin/catalina.sh: line 433: 127.0.0.1: command not found
/opt/atlassian/confluence/bin/catalina.sh: line 433: 127.0.0.1: command not found
Usage: java [-options] class [args...]
(to execute a class)
I have the similar problem and fixed by add "sudo", CentOS.
catalina.sh not edited.
Virtual server cloned from production, where everything seems to be working, changed IP and hostname. JIRA application working, Confluence fails to start. Startup output:

Using CATALINA_HOME: /opt/atlassian/confluence
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /opt/atlassian/confluence/temp
Using JRE_HOME: /opt/atlassian/confluence/jre/
Using CLASSPATH: /opt/atlassian/confluence/bin/bootstrap.jar:/opt/atlassian/confluence/bin/tomcat-juli.jar
Using CATALINA_PID: /opt/atlassian/confluence/work/catalina.pid
