Confluence mobile view still available after plugin disabling

Dmitriy Ivannikov April 6, 2021

We use Confluence Server, version 7.11.1

We have disabled the Confluence Mobile Plugin as described in the product documentation (https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-mobile-284365706.html), but the mobile view opens instead of desktop one on mobile browsers (on iOS, Android). Could you please help me with this issue?

@Brant Schroeder

Hello Brant,

Please check my workaround on another topic

A workaround that may help somebody:

  1. Navigate to Manage Apps.
  2. Filter apps by using the "System" criterion
  3. Make sure that the Confluence Web Mobile Plugin and Workbox - Host Plugin are both enabled.
  4. Open the Confluence Web Mobile Plugin and disable the modules included in it.
    • I disabled all modules containing "mobile" in the module name.

@Dmitriy Ivannikov

Can you confirm that you disabled both apps  Mobile plugin for Confluence Data Center and Server and Confluence mobile web plugin?
