We were hosting our own confluence 4.0 and chose to migrate to On Demand.

Jira went perfectly.

However Our backups and even single Space exports just will not import.

We have the files in our WebDav folder

Help! this is preventing us from using On Demand.

Your local Confluence instance is v4.0 while OnDemand is using Confluence v5.0. This is probably causing your problem.

You will need to import your site's data into a local v5.0 instance first, and then import spaces into OnDemand from there. You can download the installers from http://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/download-od

The full process is documented at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Importing+wiki+data

Cheers,
Mark
