Confluence image properties panel in Confluence user macros

Dear community,

Confluence provides a properties panel for embedded images (see screenshot).
This panel provides handy functionality for the user.

Our team is implementing Confluence user macros. One of this macros requests an image from our image database and embeds it into the confluence page.

We would like to use the confluence properties panel for images within our user macro UI. Is this possible?
We did not find any information on this within the documentation.

Thank you very much

Hello Eduardo,

Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's nice to meet you!

I believe this may be beyond the regular capability of a User Macro. There's an article here on our Development site that shows how you can add more buttons to the macro property dialog:

This would require you to develop your macro as an add-on for Confluence. If you have any questions about that process you can raise them from our Developer Community instead. It's better suited to those types of issue, since they mostly have experience developing for Atlassian software.

Let me know if you have any questions about that!

Regards,

Shannon
