We currently have a confluence page for reporting project status - which is essentially a table which lists the project name/ manager and then a RAG status (using the status gadget) for project health/schedule/budget. It is manually updated by the PM (we are working towards full jira integration but not ready to do that yet).
1. Can you do an automated pie chart that looks at the status gadget in one of the table columns (i.e. project health) and summarises how many are in each RAG status category.
2. Is there a better way of doing this - bearing in mind we are not yet ready to fully integrate with Jira.
Hi @Nikky FinchBrock ,
Do you have any 3rd party apps installed that enhance native or macro generated Confluence tables? Maybe they can help your case.
Our company develops the Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app and with the help of its Pivot Table and Chart from Table macros you'll be able to calculate your statuses and visualize them.
If you are not familiar with the app, you may book a live call with our team - we'll be able to discuss your use cases.
Hi @Nikky FinchBrock Have you tried the beta of Confluence Databases yet? It's becoming generally available soon and might meet your requirements.
You cannot use the Status Macro for calculations.
