Stefan Rodic October 6, 2023

Hey guys, so as a project in my company I have to find way how can I backup all data that we have and that has to be automatically done - which I have in my mind how that could look.

I have problem with restoring data, what is my options ? I've read that on section "Import site" I'm allowed 200mb zip file but our data is way bigger like 60gb

How did you sole this problem ?

Thanks

@Stefan Rodic Please have a look at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-71165 you have 2 options based on the ticket:

  • Reduce space size by curating and archiving older data into backups to meet compliance needs.
Break down larger spaces into smaller spaces that meet the ~200MB size limit for imports.

However, there is a 3rd option and that is using apps:

Hi @Stefan Rodic ,

You have two broad options:

1. DIY

2. Use a marketplace app

I am part of Revyz, we have a Jira backup and restore solution, it helps you with more than backup & restore i.e.:

- Backup & Restore

- Configuration Management

- Site Cleanup / Optimization

- Site Analytics

We are working on a similar app for Confluence. If you are interested I can enroll you as part of our beta program!

Thanks
