Is there a way to allow non-users to access all the information on my confluence page? I'm not looking to make them administrators. I just want them to be able to see and download information. Is this possible?
In the space permissions, allow "anonymous" to browse
Hi Jade,
As mentioned by Nic, yes it is possible. Here is the detailed documentation for this:

Cheers.

Thanks very much! A quick follow up: our company has a large number employees. Not all of them need admin access to the confluence site, but they do all need to be able to download the files uplaoded by the administrators. In addition, we would not want anyone who clicked on our site to be able to see all the information there.
Is there a way to give our non-administrative employees a blanket username and password so that they can access information, but our information remains secure?

No. This isn't a Confluence thing specifically, it's an information flow thing.
If you choose to let someone "access" your information, then that information is as secure as THAT person is. There's no technical fix for this. If they can read it, they can do what they want with it. It's a simple boolean concept - either they can see data item X or they can not. End of story.
Your comment "not all of them need admin access" is very scary. Please tell me you only have 2 or 3 Confluence administrators?
