As per Confluence Cloud documentation https://confluence.atlassian.com/teamcalcloud/watch-a-calendar-909903917.html, there should be an option to "Watch" a calendar, however it doesn't work on our instance. I have it enabled (therefore I see Stop Watching option), however I don't receive the notifications. Is this a bug or can it be controlled by some configuration?
In case anyone experience the same issue, this is related to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-61315

This appears to be an ongoing issue. I was provided this link by the Atlassian support team to vote, watch & comment: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-67095

Same here, have performed multiple tests with different users and reminders but no reminder emails are being sent, be good to have an update on this if possible.

Is this still unaswered? I didn't find the solution in any of the comments, the link in the "Answer Accepted" goes to an issue I can't view, and this is marked as 'Sovled'.
My team has built out an entire year in Team Calendars, with individuals tagged in 'Who' in events, and no one is getting email reminders.
Why is this a thing? This seems like basic functionality for an online calendar ...

Still no fix for this? We are experiencing the same problem and waiting for a solution.

Our team is experiencing the same thing. Going on three + weeks at this point where we haven't had notifications. Would REALLY like to see resolution to this.

Hell @Rachel Fuerst,
Our team calendars also have not sent notifications from the same time frame.

Hi @R. Fuerst,
I searched all folders in my Outlook and it appears that I stopped receiving them sometime shortly after June 15th (at least that was the last one I received) based on search by "from: Confluence" with Availability (name of the calendar) as the search keyword .
I still get all the notifications from Confluence based on the pages I am watching, but not the calendar. I also tried watching the entire space the Calendar is on, and the menu item changed from "Stop Watching" to "Watching", but still no email notifications. Other team members mentioned that they stopped receiving email notification for the Calendar as well.

Hi Natasha,
Thanks for the update! At this time, I think we'll need to do some more investigating of the issue. I went ahead and created a ticket with our Cloud Support team to have them dig into this a bit deeper.
You should see an email regarding the ticket. Feel free to let me know if you did not receive the email.
Thanks!
Rachel

Is there an update/resolution to this as we are seeing this issue (lack of notifications when 'watching' a calendar)?

Hi Natasha,
It definitely looks like you have turned on your mail notifications for the calendar by watching it. Mail can sometimes get routed to different folders depending on filtering settings.
In order to determine if the failure is coming from the notification system in Team Calendars, let’s make sure that the email isn’t hiding in a folder.
Let me know if you were unable to find notification emails and I can provide more troubleshooting steps.
