Migrate to Confluence Server

Before switching from Data Center to Server, make sure you've copied any existing data from your shared home directory to your local Confluence home directory.

---

It says this when I enter confluence. I didn't copy anything (I have a lot of stuff there) now I am not sure if I can. Do I loose everything if I start migration? Or is there a possibility that all my data migrates automatically? I don't want to loose anything. What should I do?

Hi @Jando ,

please read this guide https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf711/moving-from-data-center-to-server-1044782868.html

You should move all data from shared area to your local home confluence folder otherwise you could lose data.
