Confluence Latex plugin

I installed the following plugin

When I add the code from the example into my latex block

x = frac{-b pm sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}

I does not render properly. The result on the saved page is in:

x = frac{-b pm sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}

Are the dependency for this plugin?

I also don't see the latex icon in the top left corner of the my macro latex block

It's 2018 and the LaTeX plugin still isn't working...

Example does not work for me either. I'm on version 4.3.1.

Please help. I can only get the latex math paid plugin to work..not this free one.

Yeah that does not seem to work

Results look like this:

Have you tried "skiping" special characters using "/" ?

\[
x = \frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}
\]
