Good morning:
I needed to create a filter that would allow me to know which documentation pages a specific user has created or edited.
When creating the filter I have the option to filter by collaborator on a specific date but it does not allow me to know if that user created the document or edited it.
Would anyone know if this is possible?
Thank you very much.
Regards
Hello @Keilan González Gil
Welcome to the community.
I don't think you can use filters to find the information you seek in the search. The only option you currently have is to call up the page history of the pages found. You can see whether the user created or edited the page there.
This process can be quite laborious. However, if you don't mind using third-party apps, our Viewtracker app can generate this report. This allows you to see which pages a user has created or edited in the defined date range.
Kind regards,
Mattia
Hello, @Mattia _bitvoodoo ag_:
I see that it is free for up to 10 users, does this mean that I can select up to 10 users in the report or only 10 users can view the report?
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Hello @Keilan González Gil
Unfortunately, this is not how the Atlassian Marketplace and app licensing work. You are required to purchase the user tier for the app that matches the host product, in this case, your Confluence.
You can read more about app purchasing and licensing here.
Kind regards,
Mattia

Hello @Mattia _bitvoodoo ag_
Okey, i understand. I was looking for a way to have this data with the plan we already have and without paid apps.
Thanks anyway

Hi @Keilan González Gil ,
That’s a great question! While Confluence’s native options for filters are limited, tools like Panorama for Confluence can offer enhanced content management features. For example, Panorama allows you to centralise your view of multiple spaces, look at page metadata and apply filters to streamline management of your content. While it may not address your exact scenario out of the box, it could save time by consolidating and organising your content more effectively.
Let me know if you’d like more details!

Isn't there any way to make these confluence filters with JQL? Maybe with JQL you can filter by ‘creator’ or something like that.
If you can think of any other solution, let me know.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
