we are using confluence 7.2.1 in our own standalone server and we are not looking for new features or security updates. So in this case, would I need to know the below points .
After the EOL or EOS of confluence would supported plugins(already installed plugins) are work or not. for like
1. draw.io would work or not.
2. could able be accessible the confluence portal or not ?
Hi there, thanks for your inquiry. Confluence Server and all the apps that run inside of Confluence Server are managed within a licensing model. So you own the software and can use it as long as you wish. From February 25th 2024 on, you won't have product support anymore, including bug and security fixes etc. (because the Server deployment won't be supported in general). But you will still be able to use draw.io, as you own a license that entitles you to do so. What we recommend is to update your Confluence instance to a version between 8.0.0 and 8.6.0 before February 2024 to make sure you have the latest version with all the fixes and features that we included up to that day.

Hi there. No documentation needed, you need admin rights to access the Configuration Settings in Confluence. If you then click on the option Manage Apps in the left panel (you might have to expand it first) you see a list of all apps installed. Choose draw.io and click Update. That's it :D

If your question is around upgrading Confluence itself, please have a look at the Atlassian documentation on Confluence upgrades: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/upgrading-confluence-4578.html
Sincerely,
Bastian
