Confluence Database Rich Text

Is it possible to allow a field in the confluence database to accept rich text (bold, underline, etc.)? How about a field for multiple images?

The solution is to put bold text, multiple images into an excerpt on a page, then configure the field to display the excerpt of that page.

Not ideal, but works as a workaround :)
