We are working on migrating two different Confluence Cloud sites over to a central one. All of the users in these tenants have accounts in the destination tenant already and we want to ensure that the attribution for document authors and comments remains intact. Does the new Confluence Cloud migration utility let you perform any kind of mapping to carry over the authors and reattribute them to existing accounts in the destination?
Hi Ylan,
Yes, it should. You might want to create a test space/page through and run it through and see if that works.
Sorry, I should have specified - do we know if this also works if the user is in the source tenant with one email address and in the destination with a different one? I'll go through the test.

Jira would consider those to be two different users.

Hm, that's what I'm afraid of. Okay, I'll do some testing and reach out to their support team.
