Confluence Cloud backups - how?

Anneli S February 20, 2024

There is some documentation about creating a back up of Confluence Cloud using Data Management and then "Backup manager": https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-a-site-backup/

However, when viewing Data Management now, there is no back-up manager option and the options that display are about Copying Product Data and Managing Sandboxes (and therefore this Documentation seems relevant: What product data is copied | Atlassian Support).

Any ideas on how to now do a back up of a Confluence Cloud instance?

Thanks

You are comparing two different things, the first KB is talking about backing up your Confluence site and this is done from within Confluence if you go to Settings > Data Management. The second KB is about copying data between cloud instances, and this is done under admin.atlassian.com.
