I am looking for an answer to the same question someone else had on the confluence calendar view. If you have multiple events on the same day, they are not visible. How do i set up a default view to anyone viewing the page?
Hi Fatima,
In Confluence, the default behavior of the calendar view is to collapse multiple events on the same day into a single entry. However, you can adjust the display settings to change how events are shown. Here's how you can set up a default view to ensure that all events are visible to anyone viewing the page:
Navigate to the Calendar Macro Settings: Go to the Confluence page containing the calendar view or create a new page where you want to display the calendar. Edit the page and add the Calendar macro if it's not already present.
Click on the Calendar macro to select it, then click on the "Edit" button (pencil icon) that appears.
In the macro settings panel, you should see options related to the display of events. Look for settings such as "Event Display" or "Event Rendering". Depending on the version of Confluence you're using, these options may vary.
Choose an option that allows for detailed event display or expands events on the same day to show all of them individually. This setting may be labeled differently depending on your Confluence version, but look for options like "Expand Events" or "Show All Events".
After adjusting the display settings, save your changes to the macro settings.
Preview or Publish the Page
