I know that we are able to change the username via the web interface in Confluence 5.4.4. However, I would like to script the username change for 300+ users.
Does anyone know which tables will need to be modified for a username change?
We are in the process of adding LDAP and would like to clean up the "non-standard" usernames prior to attaching to LDAP.
I have seen that article and I do not believe it is valid for newer versions. If you look at CONTENT.creator, you will see that the data is not plain text as the article suggests.
Hi Polly,
There is one document here which might able to help you, but this is prior to Confluence 5.3.
I strongly suggest you to test in out on a stagging/test environment before you doing this.
Please kindly backup your database before you modify any data from the database as well.
Thank you.
Regards,
Wayne Wong
