Configuring SAML SSO when I go to For Confluence, select > General Configuration > Authentication methods is not available.

Why not? Would like to setup SSO with Azure AD.  Thanks.

Hey Alan! To link Confluence with Azure AD we're going to be going through Atlassian Access. I'd start by making sure your organization has an active subscription to Access and has also given your account admin permission within it. Once those steps are completed head over to

admin.atlassian.com

And select on your Organization if you have multiple

  1. Select Security > Identity providers.
  2. Select Add identity provider > Microsoft Azure AD.
  3. Name your identity provider directory.
  4. Select Automatically set up user provisioning.
  5. Select Sign in with Microsoft.

You may also want to configure the Authentication Policy to require SSO

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.
  2. Select Security > Identity providers.
  3. Select your identity provider directory.
  4. From your identity provider directory, go to Authentication policies.
  5. Select Edit to enforce single sign-on for users.
  6. Select Enforce single sign-on and then update your settings.

Hi @Alan Temperly,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

In order to set up SAML SSO you need to have Atlassian Access, and if you do then the configuration is done under admin.atlassian.com. You can learn more about it here.
