Confiforms: How to use queryAndSet to pass data to smart multi-select fields?

Hi, I checked the documentation of virtual function queryAndSet, but it is not explanatory enough for me to successfuly.

I want to use this function inside confiforms integration rule to get the values a from 'X' column (smart dropdown type [values are from 'dynamic dictionary' form]) into the smart multi-select field that is part of a row from another form 'Y'.  I specify to which row data should be passed by additional column in form X' with id of row form 'Y'.

How to work with queryAndSet in this context?

Hardly follow your X and Y forms references, but here is how you can use the queryAndSet function to set the values for the multi-select smart dropdown

Obviously the similar approach can be used from within ConfiForms IFTTT rules
