ConfiForms TableView Merger Export Shows "extra" data

Hi All:

Hoping you can assist.

I have what I though was a simple TableView Merger that mergers two tables with similar fields into one table that I would like to export

I currently only have one filter LOCATION:USA OR LOCATION:BOTH.  This works as expected and the view correctly shows the number of records with both tables combined.

However, when I export (export is turned on in both forms and selected in the TableView Merger) - it somehow duplicates data and also shows the data incorrectly.

only the first show data is correct (FY2024-1151,FY2024-1152, etc....) the repeated row is incorrect.  Would you know why I am getting duplicated data as above when exporting?

Is there a way for me to see the tablesource in the export file so I know which table the data is coming from?

It looks like you have chosen to flatten your records by multi-select fields that you have

And this is what you see in the export

Hi Alex:

Is there not a way to export the flatten records?  I have never seen the xls - flatten export show up when I try to export.  Could I be missing something in the config?  I have since removed the flatten (see below) - but the export remains the same - duplicate InitiativeName but attached to the incorrect IntakeNumber

How is your TableView Merger is configured?

Only fields that are set in TableView Merger are as follows:

Flatten multi-value fields before merging....is unchecked
Flatten by fields= blank
Filter to appy on entries dataset = Location:USA or Location:BOTH
Ordering = created ASC
Apply distinct filter to return only unique records = IntakeNumber
Enable Export is checked
Enable support for ConfiForms Filter Control is checked

And you still see the data being duplicated in the TableViewMerger? I suggest to open a support request with us https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/VERTUNA/Support+Request+Form
