Atlassian acquired a company last year with expertise in allowing concurrent editing of pages such that users could see another user's changes as they were being made, allowing enhanced collaboration. When will this functionality make its way into Confluence?
Hi Peter, This was announced at the Atlassian Summit earlier this month as being part of Confluence 6.0, which is targeted to be released a few months into the new year.
Thanks, Tom. I missed Summit this year and haven't taken the time to watch the videos yet.

Below is a link that presents highlights from the Summit. It mentions real-time collaborative editing, which as mentioned above is coming in version 6.0 and 'in-place editing' a feature coming to Confluence in version 5.9. http://e-core.com/blog/highlights-and-headlines-from-the-atlassian-summit-2015

@Peter Callies You're welcome. Can't wait until these new features are released. The videos, if you have the time to watch them, are worthwhile. I believe the in-place editing and live editing are both covered/demo's in the Atlassian for Business Teams keynote (delivered by Bryan Rollins) on Day 2 of Summit.
