Are there recommended page templates for complex intranets? If so, can they share them with us or can we see a sample and find out the pricing (if it costs more)?

When you create a new page in Confluence, there are a number of templates already available, many created by Atlassian but others provided by other companies/organizations. You can also create your own templates based on your particular needs (or start from one of the available ones and customize it).

You mention the complexity of your intrant: to me that sounds like you are thinking about the structure and organization of your spaces and pages. Here are two links to learn more about that

If you are looking for more control, check out some of the apps on the Marketplace. The pricing is set by the vendor, but always based on the number of users you have on Confluence.
